A Kind Gesture

Here's a story submitted by Lorrie Stephenson for our Tweet Others with Kindness contest.  She did a great job selecting fabrics, and I liked all of the different hearts on her quilt.  It seems very fitting for her special friend :o) 

Recently a co-worker had a heart attack and had to have bypass surgery.  I decided the best way to let her know she was loved, was to make her a lap quilt.  The day I delivered the quilt to her, she was in a lot of pain and was very depressed.  By the time I left, she not only knew how much she was loved, she had something to curl up with whenever she needs that extra bit of comfort and love.  Every quilt I give is a gift from my heart.
